A Strong and Dependable Company

Corry Rubber Corporation has been in business for over 47 years. If we only consider the past four decades, there have been five recessions – from late 1973 through early 1975, in 1981 followed by another in 1982, from late 1990 through early 1991, and most recently in 2001.

We’ve survived and even thrived through all of those recessions. We’ve done that by acquiring customers who want to be our partner, by hiring only the very best empolyees, by partnering with only the best suppliers, by paying attention to our costs, by not buying anything that wasn’t necessary to improve production and performance, by diversifying our markets and by keeping leverage and debt to a minimum.

Corry Rubber Corporation has a proven track record of engineered solutions and is a valuable and collaborative technological resource for its customers. It is Corry Rubber's intent to provide engineered solutions for our customers that are the best possible solution to customer problems. We do this through extensive collaboration with our customers. We employ an approach of deliberative testing and analysis and the sharing of our expertise and that of our suppliers with our customers. We think this is the absolute best way to solve problems. Corry Rubber Corporation goes beyond delivering quality and reliability in its production. We deliver SOLUTIONS that work.

We want to be a valuable strategic partner providing engineering development, prototype and solution focused technical services to all of our customers.

So while the current recession threatens to have a depth and breadth unlike any other recession in the history of our country, we intend to continue doing what we’ve been doing for more than 47 years. Giants such as Chrysler, GM and Ford may falter or even fail, but Corry Rubber will continue to provide a quality product to our customers in a timely manner and at a competitive price.

If You Are In A Fix, We Can Help

During difficult economic times, some of our customers have found themselves with requirements for rubber parts but with a rubber supplier who had gone bankrupt or was unable to perform. These situations are never easy but Corry Rubber has the experience to help you meet those challenges. Some examples are:
  • Very recently, a new customer found themselves with a bankrupt rubber products supplier. Using our strength, experience, and technical knowledge, we were able to quickly help them move several complex, highly engineered, rubber to metal bonded parts to Corry Rubber. While the timing was tight and the changeover was technically challenging, we accomplished the transition without a single hiccup or missed shipment.

  • A valued customer’s incumbent rubber supplier, a supplier with whom they had been doing business for over 80 years, suddenly went bankrupt. By working closely with this customer, we were able to assimilate all of the molds into our equipment and maintain supply. In all, we moved over 200 part numbers and over 100 different molds to Corry Rubber Corporation. Most importantly, our customer did not miss a beat on deliveries.
We are dedicated to making these types of transitions smooth and easy for our customers. Further, If you ask these customers today, they will tell you that they are even more satisfied with Corry Rubber than their prior supplier.

Let Us Help You Too

Some rubber companies are likely to fail during our current financial morass, but Corry Rubber Corporation will survive and prosper in these times. If you find that your current rubber supplier is underperforming, is on the verge of bankruptcy or has gone bankrupt, consider placing your business with us. It’s a decision that you will not regret. It is a decision that will develop into a mutually beneficial relationship continuing for many years to come.
